- Study Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, Chapter 12 “Christian Science Practice” (pp.362-442) and look for:
- Specific advice to healers, rules; musts; shoulds; if the goal is this, do that; and so forth
- What hinders healing and what to do about it
- Verities of Christian Science: such as “established fact”, “true course”, “great verity”, “dictum of scripture”, “central point”, “indispensable”, and so forth
- Qualities of the healer that are requisite for healing, such as calmness, gratitude, and so forth.
- As you continue to study the weekly Christian Science Bible Lessons, summarize each section in 7 or less words
- Consider Mrs. Teeter’s article, “In spiritual healing, matter doesn’t matter” from the March 1993 issue of The Christian Science Journal; look past the illusions that try to present themselves in daily life to see the spiritual truth in each day.
